Upon arrival at Venice airport meet your local tour escort, board the coach, and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Venice including entrance to St Mark's Basilica. Time to settle in before going to a nearby bar for a typical local activity: an "aperitivo"! Welcome dinner at a local restaurant and overnight. (D)

This morning depart Venice for Florence, spending a few hours in the land of Italian gastronomy excellence: Emilia! Head first to a cheese factory to see how milk is transformed into Parmigiano-Reggiano. Learn how this cheese, devoid of any chemical additive, can be aged for years to improve its quality. Learn to recognize the various aging stages thanks to the tasting led by an expert. Proceed to discover another culinary specialty of this area: Parma ham. In the ham-producing house, you will see every phase of the curing of the meat and taste the final result, yielded by meticulous aging. Your tour ends in a typical "Acetaia", the place where Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is made. Try a sample with local snacks. Continue on to Florence and check in to your hotel. Begin your walking tour with skip-the-line entrance inside the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's David. Marvel at the lifelike contours of the 17-foot sculpture and see why this creation has become one of the most iconic in the world. Afterward, continue on a walking tour of the city. Your guide will point out architecture from the Middle Ages and Renaissance, as well as provide historical commentary and local lore about the sites that you pass. See the Florence Duomo, peering up at Brunelleschi's Dome, the most famous structure in the Florentine skyline. Enter inside the impressive Cathedral to explore (entry may be restricted on Sundays and religious holidays) before admiring Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery. Delve deeper into Florence's rich history with a visit to the medieval Palazzo Vecchio and the Church of Orsanmichele to witness statues by famed artists such as Donatello, Ghiberti and Verrocchio. You'll also pass the grand exterior of the Uffizi Gallery, filled with Renaissance masterpieces from Botticelli, da Vinci and other greats. Visit the former Ancient Forum, now Piazza della Repubblica. Don't forget to rub the nose of the legendary boar statute, il Porcellino, promising your return to Florence! After breakfast, board the coach and depart for Rome, stopping on the way in Montalcino and Pienza. Montalcino is famous for the production of the red wine "Brunello" that is really one of the most famous red Italian wines in the world. The medieval village, Montalcino, is very beautiful. It's on top of a hill overlooking the Val d'Orcia and here you'll be able to visit some of the best wineries producing this great wine, Brunello. Another attraction here is the Abbey of Sant'Antimo built in the 12th century. The next stop is Pienza. This tiny medieval village is famous because it's considered by historians to be the first example of a planned Renaissance town. It's also very well known for the production of pecorino cheese. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Orcia Valley. Montepulciano is the last stop. It is another stunning medieval village built on top of a hill. You'll love walking through the tiny streets in the center of town and you'll be able to taste another very good red wine of Tuscany: the Nobile of Montepulciano. Continue on to Rome and check in to your hotel. Overnight Rome. (B)

In the morning, you'll be visiting the Vatican with Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, the official residence of the Pope, in Vatican City. Its fame rests on its architecture, which evokes Solomon's Temple of the Old Testament, its decoration, frescoed throughout by the greatest Renaissance artists, including Michelangelo whose ceiling is legendary. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Ancient Rome. You will meet your private guide at the Colosseum, where you will enter with skip-the-line tickets. Once inside the world's most famous amphitheater your guide will explain to you all about the bloody gladiator combats and other spectacles that took place inside. Your tour will continue to the picturesque Palatine Hill, where the Emperors built their houses. Your next stop will be the impressive Roman Forum, the meeting point of Ancient Rome, your guide will bring to life these Ancient ruins and recount to you the fascinating history behind them. After breakfast in hotel, board the coach and depart for Sorrento, stopping on the way in Pompeii. The town is a must-see and the excavations begun in the 18th Century are still being carried out today. Your guide will take you through some of the ancient streets of Pompeii where you can see baths, forums and villas built by the prosperous Romans in the year 80 B.C. In the afternoon enjoy a limoncello tasting and then return to Sorrento for a free evening. Overnight Sorrento. (B)

This morning get ready for an unforgettable tour of the Amalfi Coast. We start in the direction of Positano "The romantic city." On the way you can see breathtaking views like the islands of the sirens (Li Galli), the bay of Positano and many other sights. Once in Positano you can stroll through the narrow streets, relax and have a drink on one of the many terraces, visit shops and small factories of ceramic art or perhaps walking along the sea. Then we move to Amalfi, admiring along the way the crib of Praiano, the fjord of Furore, the Emerald Cave and Sofia Loren's villa in Conca Dei Marini. Once in Amalfi, there will be another stop to visit the Duomo (Cathedral of St. Andrew). Return to Sorrento in the afternoon and transfer to an agriturismo where you will get ready for a hands-on pizza class! Your pizza making cooking class starts with the most important part: making the dough. After learning the art of dough making and kneading, the chef will tell you the difference between different styles of pizza throughout Italy and discuss the Naples traditions - where pizza was invented. Next up is a lesson in rolling out the pizza and creating a vast variety of pizzas complete with different delicious toppings. Overnight in Sorrento. (B,D)
